The girls JV2 soccer team has an upcoming game against Wilson this Friday at 4:00pm at Westside!

Since their season has started, the JV2 team has played six games.  They had their first win on Wednesday, September 23rd against Century. Wednesday, the 29th, the girls brought home the win 3-0 against Liberty.

“I don’t care if we win or lose, we are trying to develop skills,” says coach Dave Case. The players are working hard, and their effort shows. “I think they are more confident, they’re playing with their heads up, and they are trying to play a smarter brand of soccer.”

Team captain Jovanna De La Torre says that her goals for the season are, “That we are able to pass the ball to each other and have good communication.” she mentioned that they “didn’t really know each other before the season, but we clicked.”
