This week we throw back to Phil Hukari. Hukari first started teaching in middle school and moved up to high school in 1984. He taught from 1974-2010. He is still a substitute teacher even though he retired back in 2010. Hukari said, “I like to still be involved.” Hukari never planned on being a teacher but it just happened. He went to OSE for college, we call it WOU. He use to coach basketball and softball and teach P.E and History classes. You can still see Hukari around our school, here at HRVHS.
