Today during sixth period,  thirteen HRV classes were invited to the two part assembly in the Bowe Theater, where the OSAA  presented the school for our award-winning Eagle Nation video, produced by seniors Owen Kozec and Noah Tauscher and junior Myles Cameron . In the second half of the assembly, Representative Greg Walden bestowed a copy of the Congressional Record, where he spoke of the achievement on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, upon each of our 5A soccer State Champs and HRV.  Senior Stanley Ochesky was also recognized as the Oregon Player of the Year in Water Polo, and was surprised when Walden told the crowd Ochesky had received a nomination to the U.S. Military Academies. Ochesky will learn if he receives an actual appointment to an academy in 2015. Go Eagles!
