This week we throw back to Keith Bassham in 1987. This picture is from his 7th year of teaching at HRV. Bassham started back in 1980. This year is Bassham’s 35th year and also his last. Bassham says he’s not sad about leaving because he’s had so much fun. He goes into town and sees the kids he taught in the past all grown up and even getting to see their kids in school now. Bassham said, “Its time for my next adventure.” He has a plan to travel and spend a lot of time with his wife. Bassham has done so much for HRVHS, and it will be sad to see him go. He does plan on coming back to, “substitute, speak, and do projects,” like he usually does.
