Annika Martinez is a Junior at HRVHS, and this is her second year being a part of the Talon Staff. Annika is part of the girl’s water polo team, the swim team, and the HRVHS wind ensemble. She loves the talon because it’s a great chance to be involved with the events of the student body, as well as inform people on the important details of this school. The whole staff is also a fantastically fun group of people. In her off time, Annika enjoys swimming, writing, being in nature, and hanging out with her cat, Powder. She also strives to go to as many concerts as possible. Annika feels most at home at the beach, and at Ground Coffee Shop. In her future, she hopes to travel and be involved with the Whale and Dolphin Conservation organization.
