Behind two goals from senior Mario Sandoval, the HRV boys soccer team defeated Bend today 2-0 at HRV. Sandoval notched his first goal on a header off a Jorge Campos corner kick in the 24th minute, then struck again off a corner from Noe Magana in the 49th minute. Senior Marco Cuevas had a clean sheet in goal. The Eagles will play at HRV Tuesday in the semifinals. A win Tuesday will return the Eagles to the state championship for the third year in a row.
