Tonight, HRVHS takes on Pendleton at 6:30, in the home of the Buckaroos.
Since volleyball season has started, HRV has brought home the win for most of their games and we’re hoping that they bring it home once again tonight.
On September 22, during a game against Hermiston, the Eagles grabbed their win of the season. The volleyball team has been on top of their game this year and has surpassed last year’s CRC record.
“We’re really young and we’re a really good team. We’re not quite a great team yet, but I think we can get there because we’re so young” said Coach Scott Walker. The HRVHS Volleyball team is ranked 12th in the state so far. The coach walker isn’t the only one who thinks this season has been good so far. “We were undefeated and pretty confident.” Freshman Katie Kennedy said, “I think we have potential to win the conference, and win the next couple games.” This year was the first time that the HRV volleyball beat Pendleton in three years, speaking of which, we are playing against tonight.
