There seem to be apps for almost everything nowadays. Just like styles of clothing, there are apps that are more popular than others. In a random interview of 16 people, we found out just how popular apps are compared to others. Each student was asked to mark or add their favorite app to a list.
The app that got the most votes was Trivia Crack. Trivia Crack is a fun trivia game that tests your knowledge in 6 categories, and allows you to compete with friends. The object of the game is to get the character from each category. The first person to get all six characters wins.
“It’s a lot of fun, and it’s really addicting,” says sophomore Lexie Rogers. “You learn a lot, and it’s fun to compete with friends.”
When we asked a few other students what they thought about the app, they said it made learning fun and gave them a desire to win.
The second most popular apps were Snapchat and Instagram. When asked, students told us that they generally used these alongside Trivia Crack. Then there are the other popular forms of social media like Facebook and Twitter that are used almost daily.
By far, Trivia Crack had the most votes, and is therefore the most popular app in our school right now. It had a total of 16 votes, while Snapchat and Instagram tied at 8 votes.
