The first event during the annual HRV Homecoming Week, hall decorating, was held Sunday September 28, 2014 at HRVHS from 10am to 4pm. Students from all grades got up early and decorated their assigned hall based on their class theme.

Everyone worked hard getting everything together. Deylan Gudiel, sophomore class president, was happy on how their hall was turning out. “I am very surprised on how many people showed up to help,” he said, “but there is still a lot to do in such a short amount of time.”

Nick Molina, also a sophomore, was really worried that things might not get done. “Many students did show up but we need to step it up if we want to finish,” he said. Every class was having their difficulties, but everyone pulled through in the end.

The next Homecoming Week event will be the dance-off this Tuesday September 30 during lunch in the gym.
