On Monday September 15th of , HRV had its annual club fair. There were a total of 33 clubs students could choose from including Eagle Army, GSA, Tea Club, Anime Club, Inspiration Circle, and many more. The purpose of club fair is so that students, especially freshmen, can see what HRV has to offer. It’s another way to get involved and it provides opportunities for the students to meet new people and try new things.
“It’s neat to see new clubs pop up and try their hand at something new,” said Activities Director Niko Yasui. Yasui has been the Activities Director at HRV for five years. He works hard during club fair to ensure that students have the opportunity to choose from a variety of clubs. Sophomore Mattie Back also enjoys club fair. “I love club fair,” she says, “It’s great for freshmen and new students, because it helps them get involved in the school and make new friends.”
Students who were not able to attend club fair and wish to join a club can visit the main office. They have information on which clubs are available, what those clubs do, and when and where they meet.
